Coffee Pudding Club
Early group members told Waldo they'd like to name the conservancy after him. He replied, "that name is already taken." When asked what name he would suggest, he said, "Oh...I don't know...something like The Coffee Pudding Club." And so the group was first named.
Meet the Board
We are a committee of conservationists dedicated to preserving wildlife habitat in this area of the San Joaquin Valley. Our ultimate goal is to build a locally based ongoing habitat conservancy, possibly a land trust, supported by people from all the diverse social and economic groups of San Joaquin County.
We have no paid staff. All of us work for the Conservancy as volunteers.
Along with grant funding, we plan to obtain a significant part of our revenue from individual and corporate donations. We are a 501(c)(3) (EIN number 26-1268746), so we offer tax deductions for all donations.
