Coffee Pudding Club
When the Conservancy group was just being formed, members approached Waldo and told him they'd like to name it the Waldo Holt.... He replied, "that name is already taken." So he was asked, "what do you suggest?" "The Coffee Pudding Club." And so the group was named.
Meet the Board
We are a committee of conservationists dedicated to preserving wildlife habitat in this area of the San Joaquin Valley. Our ultimate goal is to build a locally based habitat land trust, supported by people from all the diverse social and economic groups of San Joaquin County.
We call some of us directors now because we have incorporated, but we have no paid staff. All of us work as volunteers. Along with grant funding, we plan to obtain a significant part of our revenue from individual and corporate donations. Until our 501(c)(3) certification is complete, we can offer donors a tax deductions through our fiscal sponsorship through a certified nonprofit, The Rose Foundation.
